We enjoyed having the opportunity to take this kitchen from dark and dated to modern, chic, and fabulous! Using the original footprint of this large kitchen was a way to save on the budget of this project. We refaced existing cabinets, moved the upper cabinets to the ceiling, replaced some cabinetry with open shelving, and added the showpiece-glass cabinetry! Updating paint and lighting in this kitchen also gave an updated, bright look. In addition to the kitchen, we had the opportunity to update the living room bar cabinet. We added a herringbone antique mirror tile backsplash, and updated all door fronts and hardware.
